FREE RIDES

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day responsibly – and get a free ride! Once again this year Metro Transit and Miller Brewing Company will offer free bus and train rides starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 17. Free rides will be available on all scheduled Metro Transit service until 3 a.m. the following morning. No fares, no coupons, no blarney. Just hop on any Metro Transit bus or train and take a seat – free!
Whether you’ll be out celebrating or you’re not interested in driving alongside those who are, riding Metro Transit is an easy, safe alternative. Miller Free Rides® is a community service program in partnership with Metro Transit, J. J. Taylor Distributing Company and Miller Brewing Company.

The Timberwolves schedule is here!
The Timberwolves schedule for the upcoming season is now available! The Timberwolves will start off with an exhibition game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, December 17th at 7 PM. Regular season play starts on December 26th with a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7 PM. You can find a complete schedule under the EVENTS tab above. Come cheer on our Minnesota Timberwolves and stop in any of our Warehouse District restaurants or bars for dinner or drinks before and after the game, even if you’re not actually going to the game! Miller Lite Free Rides
For the first time, the Miller Lite Free Rides ™ program will be available on New Year’s Eve to help Twin Cities residents and visitors ring in the New Year safely. Miller Lite, in partnership with Metro Transit and J.J. Taylor Distributing, will offer free bus service on December 31, from 6 p.m. until the end of regular service on all bus and light-rail routes, as well as the Northstar commuter train. Lynx win WNBA Championship

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WNBA CHAMPIONS, THE MINNESOTA LYNX! The Lynx have won their first WNBA Championship in a sweep over the Atlanta Dream bringing Minnesota its first championship in 20 years!
On Tuesday, October 11th our Minnesota Lynx were honored with a parade to celebrate this momentous occasion! It was perfect parade weather and the fans turned out in droves to congratulate and thank their team for a great season. The parade started at the corner of 12th Street and Nicollet Mall and continued down Nicollet Mall to 7th Street and then to First Avenue North ending as it entered Target Center. There was a Championship Celebration at Target Center.
It was a great day, the perfect end to a winning season. Thank you so much Minnesota Lynx. We look forward to another great season next year!
